Cablevision Argentina/ Telefonica de Argentina

Cable TV/High Speed Data/Telecom

Helped lead the investment and served on the Board of Directors of the largest cable television/ telecom/multimedia companies in Argentina. Became (at the time) the largest “triple play” cable company in Latin America and launched first high speed internet service in Argentina (Fibertel). Restructured company during 2002/2004 financial crisis and sold to financial/industry buyers.

Helped lead the funding and served on the board of directors of what became the second largest river barging operation in Latin America (serving the Parana River “hidrovia”). Sold to government buyer.

Led the creation and funding of the largest stem cell banking company in Latin America. The company is executing a Pan regional strategy and is one of the 6 largest stem cell banks worldwide. Company is the market leader in every country it serves.

DIRECTV South America—VRIO CORP

Initiated and led the purchase of the largest PayTV operation in South America by WST from AT&T. Vrio owns the DIRECTV and SKY brands in South America and serves more than 10 million customers in 7 countries. Developed new strategy to speed the deployment of OTT services (through ISP’s), launch satellite internet service and restructure the company to match current market trends
