Paul B. Savoldelli has THIRTY years of international PrIVATE EQUITY with a primary focus on Latin America and the United States and is currently the CEO of Americas Management Group (AMG).

AMG works with international private equity groups to create and manage transactions in the region.

Initiated, managed or led the development or funding of more than $3 billion of transactions, including several of the largest cable, media and logistics companies in Latin America. These transactions have included:

  • Davivo International, the largest cable television and high speed internet holding company in Latin America (where he was CEO for 7 years).

  • International Outdoor Advertising (the largest outdoor advertising company in Latin America).

  • Angama Mara: leading luxury ecotourism lodge in Kenya (see: www.angama.com)

  • CryoHoldco: The leading stem cell bank in Latin America and one of the 6 largest globally (with operations in 4 countries).

  • Other logistics, media and consumer goods ventures. 

Mr. Savoldelli has lived and worked overseas on four continents (including in Mexico City, Mexico; Buenos Aires, Argentina; London, England and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) and is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Portuguese. He received his BA (with high honors) from UCLA, where he concentrated in International Relations and Spanish,  and his JD (with high honors) from the University of Michigan, where he concentrated in international corporate law.

Prior to AMG, Mr. Savoldelli was a Managing Director and Partner of Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst (Latin America) Incorporated where he headed the Buenos Aires, Argentina office. In addition, Mr. Savoldelli has founded several highly successful start-ups and participated in an international legal practice in the United States, Europe and the Middle East (with Gibson, Dunn, & Crutcher).  

Mr. Savoldelli has also served on the Board of Directors of numerous companies including Telefónica de Argentina, Citicorp Equity Investments, S.A., Cablevision Argentina, Intercable Venezuela, Fox Pan American Sports, & CryoHoldco (the leading stem cell bank in Latin America).

Management Affiliates

A critical element of generating proprietary deal flow are the strong relationships with experienced local teams that identify and assist in the execution of, and manage transactions on behalf of AMG.  The core team has long standing relationships with 5-10, “management affiliate”, teams in markets such as Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, & the United States.  Each team has worked with international private equity funds and is prepared to operate assets and report with practices consistent with the highest international standards.
